How it works

What happens after a tip is submitted?

The more unique and important the information, the higher the potential value of the reward. Assessing the reward value depends on many different factors that will be considered by NAVCENT officials during the reward validation process.

  1. 1 Individuals can submit information confidentially via the tip form or via phone.
  2. 2 After a tip is received, the information is translated and shared with NAVCENT for vetting.
  3. 3 If the information is verified and acted upon, the individual who provided the tip may qualify for a reward worth up to $100,000. NAVCENT will arrange payment to the tip provider through a direct cash payment, an electronic funds transfer, or a non-monetary item such as a boat, a vehicle, or food or equipment.
