NAVCENT rewardable information
NAVCENT offers rewards for information or nonlethal assistance that either supports counterterrorism operations in the Middle East or enables U.S. Naval Forces in the Middle East to successful seize illicit cargo such as illegal weapons or narcotics. This could include transfers of rifles, missiles, ammunition and drones. Transfers of fertilizers, fuel and drugs in bulk volume are also of interest.
What happens after a tip is submitted?
After a tip is received, the information is translated and shared with NAVCENT for vetting.
- If the information is verified and acted upon, the individual who provided the tip may qualify for a reward.
- If a reward nomination is verified, NAVCENT will arrange payment to the tip provider through a direct cash payment, an electronic funds transfer, or a non-monetary item such as a boat, a vehicle, or food or equipment.
- Eligible reward recipients could receive a maximum $100,000 USD payout from NAVCENT.
The more unique and important the information, the higher the potential value of the reward. Assessing the reward value depends on many different factors that will be considered by NAVCENT officials during the reward validation process.
NAVCENT Rewards Program success story
In October 2022, NAVCENT received specific information from an anonymous individual on the smuggling of illicit narcotics through international waters.
The information resulted in NAVCENT gaining awareness of specific smuggling routes and operations, for which the individual will receive a $5,000 USD rewards payment.
